 The image on the left is part of an advertisement published in a recent issue of Modern Weekly (周末画报). The woman is Kelly Chen (陈慧琳), a Hong Kong actress and pop singer who went to high school in Japan. The Chinese characters on the ad read: "Have you started washing?" Click on the image to enlarge and see what she's talking about, and contemplate the possible effects on Sino-Japanese relations if Chinese people start using such traditionally Japanese products.
