Traditional brand KFD

JDM070813kfd.jpg

This is a sign for a new neighborhood restaurant operated by Tang Luo (唐罗), which claims to be a "traditional brand" (老字号).

This particular restaurant goes by the name 啃德鸭. Comparing that to KFC's Chinese name 肯德基, it appears that Tang Luo is promoting the traditional Chinese cuisine "Kentucky Fried Duck."

really funny

啃德鸭 ("nibble duck with virtue"?) is a much better name than 肯德基 (random).
