VICUTU vs. VERSACE

Mamma mia, yet another Chinese brand that drew inspiration from the great Italian clothing tradition to produce stylish and manly clothes for the beautiful people: VICUTU.

The brand is relatively new to the local market, but according to their print ads their clothing is sold all over the place. From urban Lanzhou to stylish Changsha, VICUTU is the real thang. Emphasis is obviously placed on the Italian character of the brand: from the VERSACE-like logotype, to Italian looking male models strolling along the streets of Rome on their TV ads.

However, it seems nobody told the guys at VICUTU that in Italian their brand name sounds like the name of a shepard from Sardinia.
