Wine and learning blogs

Two new China-related blogs worth following:

Ken Carroll's blog, about "networks, languages, and learning 2.0". Carroll is one of the founders of the popular language learning podcast series Chinese Pod; his blog so far is an eclectic mix of stuff about 'Finnegan's Wake' and language learning, including a well argued critique of an Economist article that was subtitled 'craze for teaching Chinese may be a misguided fad’'.

Grape Wall of China: Nine Oenophile and boozers write about wine and the wine industry in China. The website is the latest project of Beijing Boyce, who describes himself as a 'somewhat young China hand on the local drinking scene'.

All comments are moderated and subject to review by Danwei contributors and editors, but well-grounded and articulate comments will be published regardless of which way they lean. Because comments published on any website ultimately contribute to the character of that website, we may decline to publish comments that are irrelevant, redundant, or that do not adhere to generally accepted standards of courtesy; if you are looking for a fight, there are plenty of other venues available online.
