Danwei Music: Beijing Band - Another Idea

Danwei Music is a new Danwei TV show that will feature reports and tunes from China's contemporary music scene, from rock-n-roll to hip-hop and punk, classical music to jazz.

In this segment, Wang Li, the guitarist and lead singer of old-school punk band Another Idea, shares his thoughts on the music scene in Beijing, and his experiences on tour. Then, on the night of Friday, June 16, 2006, they play at Club 13 in Beijing's university district. This segment features their song "The Xian Incident", which is about the frustrations they faced when they were dealing with bar owners and touring in Xian.
