Chinese blogger conference 2007

badge_image.png
Registration has opened for the Chinese bloggers conference 2007. The first conference was held in Shanghai in 2006, last year's was in Hangzhou. The conference naturally has a blog which is being updated as the event schedule falls into place. The event is organized by volunteers and does not seek to make a profit, but there are sponsorship opportunities; watch this space for more details.

Last year's conference was a lot of fun — highly recommended for anyone interested in grass roots Chinese Internet culture, or meeting entrepreneurs, bloggers and Net freaks. Your correspondent is foreign media contact person for the event; if you are a foreign journalist interested in the conference, please contact me at jeremy -at- danwei.org.

All comments are moderated and subject to review by Danwei contributors and editors, but well-grounded and articulate comments will be published regardless of which way they lean. Because comments published on any website ultimately contribute to the character of that website, we may decline to publish comments that are irrelevant, redundant, or that do not adhere to generally accepted standards of courtesy; if you are looking for a fight, there are plenty of other venues available online.
