I'm about a third the way thru at a painfully slow rate. Thus far my site has not had a mention - and Jeremy is looking slightly comatose. But, I've started so I'll finish. It needs Moser to throw a curved ball to liven things up.
Just re-read Moser's "Media "Schizophrenia" in China" while I was waiting for the rest to load.
Good stuff.
Jeremy, how come you ignored that pitch about 'overstepping the line' (or something similar) in connection with Danwei being blocked? You should've smacked that sucker out of the ballpark.
Is there going to be a transcript of this anywhere ever? I'd love to see what was said, but the video is intolerably slow-loading, and you don't seem to be able to pause it and have it pre-load so you can watch it in one clip later.
Hello,
Thank you for the very informative video.

"...you don't seem to be able to pause it and have it pre-load so you can watch it in one clip later."
Yes you can - if you go to the faster link offered. At least it worked for me (eventually).
Faster link or not, it was painfully slow whichever way you slice it...
An alternative to a "pre-load so you can watch it in one clip later" approach is to capture the clip (in effect, download it). This is easily done with a Firefox add-on called DownloadHelper. Works fine for me.
