Comments on Mao Zedong Thought cures deaf mutesUtterly, utterly terrifying. And terribly, terribly sad. Mao's face staring out from the 100-yuan note proves, every day, how deeply his fratricidal lunacy was implanted. One day the Chinese people will stand up. I hope I'm alive to see it. I'm not sure why Danwei TV shows this clip, or the message behind. The mao period has long passed and most nowadays Chinese have a very objective opinion about who he is and what he has done. Let me make it clear (as millions of times in my life) that China now is at a "raw capitalistic" period. I've always admired danwei tv's quality programs, but these days the negative attitudes just continue to grow, maybe the author has experienced something unpleasant overthere personally, or under some pressures from western investors?...I really can not get the hints! There are a lot of people who have never seen the excesses of the Cultural Revolution. To put it in historical perspective is correct, but to say it should not be posted is wrong. Films such as this are neither negative or positive, but are fact. And these historical facts are simply not allowed to be seen in today's China. 我被雷到了。 We all know that China is (near) a "raw capitalist" state, but why does it hurt to post a video link about the Cultural Revolution? Does one become a China hater by posting video clips like this? I don't see how the conclusion was drawn, Juan. If there must be a message behind a video link post, sharing something worth looking at (odd, funny, rarely seen, etc.) can be one. Maybe I'm just too numb because our "Chinese people's feelings" are hurt too many times. |
