Comments on Music Shorts - Hard Queen
i'm sure i'm won't be the first to say this:
depressingly cheap imitation of Crystal Castles, right down to the drummer's hair.
also, they call themselves "Hard Queen," but there's only one dude in the band and he, at that, seems neither particularly aroused nor gay.
go figure.
on a related note, Danwei's content of late has been uncommonly light-weight. too many cooks spoiling the broth? too much pressure to deliver post-after-post in the run-up to the olympics? Joel Martinsen on vacation?
go figure.
Groan. Another Chinese band without musical talent that hipster foreigners will say they like but everyone knows isn't good.
