From Darkside, a Hong Kong blog, comes this video ad made by a hotel that was forced this week to stop the campaign because it went viral for the wrong reasons (more here). Update: The video has apparently been deleted by Youku, the original host of the above, but is available on Youtube at the blog posts linked above. |

I found videos are poor quality. It is very visible that they are intentionally made to look "amateurish", but they failed. On other side, this situations are real in HK. Maybe HK citizens didn't liked their image in mirror?
Everybody knows that foreign guests who can afford to stay at Hong Kong's Langham Hotels would never go out to eat at one of those cheap street "daipaidong" (大排档), so the video is stupid anyway.
Once again the lack of creativity among Hong Kong ad agents flaps its pathetic wings.
