AP, Xinhua and a bunch of other news services are carrying a report about Kill Bill director Quentin Tarantino's plans to make a kung fu film entirely in Mandarin. He is apparently busy writing the film, and plans to shoot it next year in China. As Xinhua says: "China has another persuasive advantage: extremely low costs." On the other hand, cocaine prices in this town are sure to go up next year. The Xinhua report was lifted from the Shenzhen Daily. You can read it on Xinhua here. |
