A year or so after being screened in China, Zhang Yimou's big budget historical kung fu epic Hero (yingxiong)is at last being distributed in the USA by Miramax.
Quentin Tarantino attended the premiere, and his name is being used to endsorse the film in the trailers. The trailer voice over sounds like a parody: a deep voice saying something like "In a time before there was a time, one man takes on an empire blah blah". You can watch the trailer here.
