Xinhua calls it for ObamaPosted by Jeremy Goldkorn, November 5, 2008 12:53 PM
Following CNN, many Chinese media are already declaring the U.S. presidential race over and Barack Obama the victor, including state-owned news agency Xinhua which has Obama's victory as its biggest headline on its website. The screenshot from Sina.com to the left shows their US election page, complete with color coded maps of the states and plenty of articles about the election and the candidates. The top headline on the election page is currently 'Obama elected as America's first black president'. * Obama's first appearance on Danwei was in this post on November 3 2004, after Bush was re-elected. congrats to this gentleman, he got a lot of work ahead, I just hope he will drop the unilateral foreign policy that intoxicated bush.
I admit... Even with the Dark Force we were overwhelmed by Obama's greatness. His speech totally defeated the Sith Lords...This is bad for us.
If they're so good at calling elections they should try them at home
