Well looks like Google's been a bit slow, China already has Gmail with
Chinese characteristics: Gmail.cn


- Yo Google lawyers! Gmail.cn is registered to a company called ISM (ai si mei wang). Their phone number is 6853 7787. Other details (address, Internet Content Provider licence number etc.) can be found on their homepage.

If ISM remove or change their Gmail.cn interface, you can see a screengrab by clicking here.
