![]() Interfax reports: "Qingdao Laoshan Mineral Water Co. Ltd. (QLMWC) has denied its new product "Laoshan Cola" may infringe on Coca-Cola Co. Ltd's copyright ... An official from the planning department ... denied that the product's packaging could evoke a copyright dispute. "The brand name "Laoshan" has been registered as trademark, approved by the state trademark office. The trademark has already been used in our product packaging for mineral water and soft drinks," she said. She went on to say that people could easily distinguish Laoshan Cola from Coca Cola, not only by their packaging but also from the taste. The Interfax article is here. |
