Bird flu in North Korea

Xinhua's English website has reported that a bird flu outbreak has been confirmed in North Korea. There is nothing on the state-owned news agency's Chinese language website about this.

The English report quotes the Korean Central News Agency quoting North Korea's "State Emergency Veterinary and Anti-Epizootic (sic) Committee":

Upon its outbreak on those farms the committee lost no time to take emergency measures and meticulously organized veterinary and anti-epizootic work to prevent its spread to other poultry farms.
