Chinese Wal-Mart workers allowed to join unions?

Asian Labour News: "Wal-Mart seems to have changed its stance on unions, and if so this means Chinese workers will be the first outside of Quebec to organise in a Wal-Mart store."

Of course, Chinese unions aren't exactly like European and American unions: the openly unions allowed in China are controlled by the state.
