The Company

Monkey King (美齐金有限公司) is a boutique research firm serving financial investors. We are a small team of three expatriates and six Chinese staff based in Beijing. We watch China’s economy and identify significant economic and commercial trends then find growing, undervalued companies. We report on the sectors and companies and help investors find smart investment targets.

We want skeptics.

We have a small, tight-knit team of consultants who analyze Chinese companies and tell investors which companies really have a great product and market and which ones probably don't. We need people who are fascinated by China's growing economy and endlessly curious about business. If you are smart, interested, resourceful, not afraid to make phone calls, and you want to learn about business, give us a try. We don't care much about your background but we do care about whether you are smart, enthusiastic, and willing to work. It helps if you love to write and especially if you have your own blog on business or economics.

We need you to be…

Able to read, write, and speak Chinese as a native

University-educated

Able to read and write English

Knowledgeable about information technologies or about retailing

Some background in an IT company or a retailer is a big plus

Compensation

Between 4,000-8,000 RMB/month, depending on experience.
