MaLiLian is a unique design business with operations in Munich and in Beijing, China. Marianne Friese, the owner of the business, has launched her one-off pieces in Europe since the beginning of 2005 and will also drive business in China as of 2006. The small team is looking for an intern who can speak and write German and English, being on a professional conversation level in Chinese [Mandarin]. Main tasks include: sourcing, participation in events, trade shows, and applying marketing tools such as website and brochures.
The key learning:
• see how a creative business works behind the scenes and become part of it
• immerse in a truly international team: Chinese/Canadian, German, Chinese, AND ?
• learn how to use marketing tools effectively and create them by yourself
• and have the opportunity to work also on other business in the office: film and communications consulting
What does it take:
• a great "can do" personality
• languages [English, German, Chinese]
• previous experience in working at an office
• lots of smarts and energy
• love for China
When: asap - the latest beginning 2006
How long: 6 to 12 months
Compensation: depend on skills and relevant experience
