Prior experience in magazine and print journalism is absolutely essential.

You will have a passionate interest in Shanghai’s cultural and entertainment scene, and have a strong understanding of the city’s live music circuit, filmmaking community, theater and dance world, and a full appreciation of Shanghai’s contemporary art world.

You will be bursting with creative ideas and have a healthy contacts book.

Spoken Chinese and some experience in magazine design are also desirable.
