This is a recruitment advertisement. Please contact the advertiser directly if you are interested. See all job ads or place a job ad. The Shanghai Star Business Journal has an immediate opening for an experienced copy editor. The Journal is a new and growing English language weekly newspaper serving the business community in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. The copy editor works with Chinese reporters, helping them organize their stories and improve their English writing. This job involves extensive editing, not just “English polishing.” The pay is low by U.S. standards but quite good compared with similar jobs in China. It is more than enough to live a comfortable lifestyle here. You must have at least five years experience as an editor, be able to adapt to a new culture and be a patient mentor. Experience in China would be a major plus, as would a business journalism background. Please send your CV to rita.zhang@bridgeheadmedia.com. |
