Media magazine, the most prominent trade rag for Asia's advertising and marketing industry, is basically a gossip sheet for ad agencies, with the occasional soundbite article about the media business. Their March 25 issue contains a front page story about the launch of Condé Nast's Vogue magazine in China. The article says that Vogue will launch in September this year, in collaboration with China Pictorial publishing house.

Well, maybe. But Vogue has been "about to start publishing" for about two years now. They have even hired and fired at least one editor-in-chief, without even producing a dummy issue. So don't hold your breath for a punctual launch.
