Rich and Famous is dead

Morningside Media's Rich and Famous magazine (明星时代) had wobbled along for about two years until 2003, when it serendipitously managed to hire some of China's best print media talents. For some reason, all these people left shortly after they had managed to fix the magazine, and then things went rapidly downhill.

Danwei sources reveal that the magazine was closed today, and all the staff let go with fat severance packages.

Another one bites the dust!
