 Apart from the pictured Beijing News, most newspapers in Beijing today featured a photo about the end of the Beijing People's Congress meeting. The pictured front page photo shows a French person grieving at a monument which marks 76,000 French Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Leaders from around 30 countries attended Thursday's ceremonies, which began with applause for Shapiro and three other Soviet veterans who helped liberate the camp. The big black headline is : The State Council is going to investigate gas supply status in Beijing. |
