An earthquake in Yunnan caught the media's attention today. Both The Beijing News and Beijing Youth Daily published images of the earthquake on their front pages. Four people have been confirmed dead in this earthquake, according to local sources. A total of 594 people were injured, 167 of them seriously, in the quake which jolted Ludian county in Zhaotong city of Yunnan Tuesday night. This is according to Deng Xianpei, mayor of Zhaotong city.
