Mainland China release for Korean transsexual's hit recordPosted by Jeremy Goldkorn, June 3, 2005 7:17 PM
Harisu is a transsexual model, actress and singer from Korea. Today's Beijing News and Beijing Evening News both have stories about the release of her new record Fox (狐狸), scheduled for release on June 26 in Mainland China by Jingwen Records. The record was released last week in Taiwan and Korea, where it broke all previous sales records, according to the Beijing News. In addition the Mainland record release, Harisu is planning to come to China to demonstrate a special 'fox dance' to her fans, and also to publish two 'portrait' (写真) albums of photographs. When Chinese media talk about 'portraits' in connection with attractive women, the phrase often seems to mean nude photos. Harisu is not camera-shy when naked, as you can see from the photo gallery linked below which is an eye-popping demonstration of the advanced state of sex-change surgery.
