Real Madrid in Beijing: the swipe after the hype

real_01.jpgToday Xinhuanet published an article commenting Real Madrid's recent tour of China. The article uses harsh words to describe Real Madrid's performance, especially off the pitch.

Right after their first press conference in Beijing, Real Madrid displayed a scornful and arrogant demeanour: after continuosly postponing the press conference at the Great Hall of the People, not even a single member of the players or the crew thought about apologizing. During their stay in Beijing they kept on canceling previously scheduled activities, and having arguments with security guards and fans.[...] In Beijing, Real Madrid made enough bucks, but they ruined their prestige.

Dear friends at Xinhuanet, but what do you expect from spoiled and overpayed football megastars and their entourage?
Now, let's see if the lads from Manchester United are going to behave better then their Spanish counterparts...
