Barack Obama's half-brother in ShenzhenPosted by Thomas Crampton, November 6, 2008 3:41 PM
This is a reporting request: Curious if anyone out there in Danwei-land knows Mark Ndesandjo, Barack Obama's half brother, or how to get in touch with him. (Would he be considered the First Half-Brother?) I'd like to request a video interview with him for my blog. I've started profile pages on Mark Ndesandjo and his company, World Nexus, in addition to a posting I did earlier on Ndesandjo based on some reporting by Michael Sheridan. If you do not want to leave a public comment, but know how to contact him, feel free to email me at thomas at crampton dotcom. UPDATE: Thanks to readers here and on my blog, I have a greatly expanded profile of Mark Ndesandjo - with photos. Mark plays piano and apparently teaches piano at an orphanage. |

Comments on Barack Obama's half-brother in Shenzhen
I'm not sure if you read Traditional Chinese (especially in Hong Kong Style), this is a short media coverage from Next Magazine, Hong Kong this Sept over Mark Ndesandjo. I hope it will help finding Mark, or at least get more info about him: link
Thanks!
I also just found this story with a photo in today's Shenzhen Daily: link
Best "only in China" detail:
After Ndesandjo’s identity was revealed, the wine producers of Shenyang Dragon Medical Co. Ltd., Liaoning Province, invited Ndesandjo to be their product spokesman. Ndesandjo turned down the offer, saying that he would think about it after the election.
Btw, Obama's brother-in-law is a Chinese-Canadian

Lou shang, he's really Malaysian-Canadian.
