Free wireless Internet in Shanghai

Danwei has started a section of listings about free wireless Internet access. The first location is Shanghai: Danwei guide to free wireless in Shanghai. Unlike most free wi fi listings websites, this guide has been compiled and checked by a real human being with a laptop.

Please email jeremy -at- danwei.org if you have suggestions of other places that should be mentioned. A guide to Beijing's free wireless venues will be published soon. Danwei is also looking for writers to compile free wireless guides to Changsha, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dalian, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xiamen and other cities.
